Christmas Garland
Christmas garland is used to adorn entrances, stairwells, and mantles, as well as to wrap around the Christmas tree. Available in many styles and colors, garland is a versatile Christmas decoration that has survived numerous makeovers without ever losing its popularity.
The garland used for homes is traditionally green, styled after evergreen garlands, and sometimes decorated with bows, pinecones, and ribbons. Pre lit garland has lights wired throughout, which adds a tasteful elegance and looks amazing in the evening. Pre lit garland can be used indoors and usually outdoors, and 9' is the standard garland length. When hanging garland over a front entrance, a minimum of two garland is usually required to cover the full length of the door.

Stairs Adorned with Christmas Garland
Christmas garland is also used on the Christmas tree. Colorful strands of garland and tinsel used to be very popular on Christmas trees, but its popularity has lessened from previous generations. The bright metallic garland is now typically used for retro style trees, or tastefully used for commercial and professionally decorated trees. Metallic Christmas garland can also be used on commercial buildings and outdoors, as well as wrapped around light poles and columns. Garland consisting of beads, popcorn, candy, and holly berries are common on family trees, and add decorative flairs to numerous holiday themes.
