Christmas Tree Decorations

Christmas tree decorations are a must and part of the Christmas tradition.  Tree decorations come in all sorts of colors, shapes, and sizes.  Tree decorating is a special time for children and adults. 

Christmas tree decorating is a time you can enjoy with your family and friends.  Children love making homemade decorations.  This is their favorite time of year and they enjoy making decorations of all sorts.  A fun project is using cookie cutters in holiday shapes as a template to cut ornaments made out of cookie dough or paper.  Decorating them with colored frosting or sprinkles is a favorite if they can keep them from eating before it is used to decorate. 

Christmas trees can be decorated with things such as garland made of popcorn, berries, beads and anything that will string.  Bows tied to the branches of the tree or tied at the top of the ornaments gives them a more artistic, creative fashion.  Little pictures of family members are a big hit especially with the new digital photo frames that can be purchased. 

If your Christmas tree has holes that need to be filled add some greenery onto its branches as pictured below.  There are so many types of greenery that you can add such as poinsettias, eucalyptus, and other types of greenery which you can find decorative and festive.

Trees outside your home deserve a little attention.  They bring such joy to the season.  Just a few lights strung on a tree are a beautiful site.  Be sure to use lights that are made for outdoors if you chose to decorate outdoors..
